Junior Rising Talent Program Plus (2020-2021)

"NEW" DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM - FALL 2025

The Jr. Rising Talent Program Plus or Jr. RTP + is a "new" program at ODFC geared to provide more on-field time and skill development opportunities for our young players. Same as our legacy Jr. RTP this program is designed for our Under-7 (2020-2021) players looking to expand their knowledge base and their inventory of skills throughout the year!

Jr. RTP+ focuses on developing players’ coordination/balance and technical skills while promoting sportsmanship and teamwork. This professionally run program will take place twice/week  during the fall and spring seasons at both ODFC “North” and ODFC “South” allocated fields. Special summer "Inventory of Skills" sessions will focus on specific skills training for field players and introduction to goalkeeping as we prepare our players for the fall season.

Educational weekend games will run over an 8-week season and utilize small-sided 4 v 4 and 5 vs 5 games encouraging players to apply what they’ve learned during the week. Graduates of the Jr. RTP+ will be eligible to join the ODFC Academy Program advancing through the ODFC learning pyramid with evaluations occurring at the end of every season.

The focused and innovative methods of team management and individual player training are the basis of this new educational program.

Parent Coaches Welcomed: let us know if you wish to volunteer as a "parent coach" to work side-by-side with our professional staff at training sessions and game! Coaching education subsidies available to our volunteer coaches.
