ODFC would like to thank all the community partners who individually sponsor our teams and support our club. Playing travel soccer in the metro DC region is both time consuming and expensive. Your contributions help our players train harder, attend tournaments, and outfit the teams! Your contributions are greatly appreciated and our parents, players, coaches, and trainers offer our gratitude. We are proud to say our list of supporters and partners grows every season!
A.C. Cesena and ODFC: Educationally Based Partnership
An educational partnership has created with Cesena USA and will be ODFC’s high-level travel program! The partnership between the two organizations is one based on education of both players and coaches. This special partnership will impacted approximately 600 players and over 100 coaches through a training program tailored to meet the specific needs of ODFC. ODFC will enjoy and benefit from weekend training sessions on skills development along with practical instruction for parent coaches.
Since the fall of 2012 and as part of a growing ODFC Program, Cesena USA developed and grew the "travel" program by 40%. All our teams participate in high-level training and evaluations of ODFC recreational players and coaches as we continue to expand.
ODFC-Cesena USA teams are professionally coached and have year-round access to our Italian cadre of coaches. Teams will play in one of our two high-level leagues; NCSL and CCL.
Beginning in 2016, Cesena USA will focus a spotlight on coaches’ education and team development as he club rolls out new year-round programs for “recreational” coaches’, and players of all ages. Cesena USA will offer a well-rounded program consisting of classroom training on the "Fundamentals of Coaching", skills training sessions, and structured team visits.

ODFC Quest 22
Our "Premier Program" opens the door for players who want to deepen their understanding of the game and challenge themselves in a higher level of competition with players of the same playing level.Players are exposed to a core set of values including sportsmanship, teamwork, enjoyment of the game and of course, skill development. We challenge them to better themselves both on and off the pitch. Seasonal games are played in the Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL), National Capital Soccer League (NCSL-WAGS). Tournament participation is mostly in the metro region; however, some teams travel to competitive tournaments out of state including events in North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.
These elite teams are professionally trained and may play and train in the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer seasons.
