After almost three years since its inception the ODFC Soccer School has seen rapid growth with only slight slow-down during 2020 due to the COVID pandemic. The spring 2021 season will begin with the Soccer School fully staffed and with highly qualified coaches/directors managing every aspect of the program.

Little Friends and the Jr. RTP see a huge jump in registrations as parents and siblings see the benefits of the training and mentoring of their older children in the program.

The RTP players, over 70% have been with us since Little Friends, continue to develop and learn. Many will be participating in league games with the Future Stars participants this coming season to further their development.

This coming spring season ODFC will field seven (7) “new” Soccer School teams which form part of the Future Stars Program. This translates to 100 players in the 2006 through the 2012 age groups. These purely developmental teams will play in the Suburban Friendship League (SFL) applying all that is taught during the weekly professional training sessions. These teams will be closely supervised and developed with many teams providing the basis for our “new” travel groups being created in the fall of 2021.

The ODFC Soccer School objective continues to be; to create a clear, concise and consistent pathway for players starting at the youngest age groups and progressing through their stages of development.
