ODFC has initiated youth development programs in three counties in “western” Virginia including Clark, Warren and Frederick Counties.

This coming spring 2018 season will see two programs offered to our families in the clubs Valley Region. The Rising Talent Program (RTP) will cater to two separate age groups and will be professionally managed and run.  Andy Vera, ODFC Director of Soccer Operations said this regarding the expansion west, “we always welcome the opportunity to work with local community partners in sharing educational opportunities with their kids.”

ODFC has seen almost a 50% growth over the past year alone with most of the high-level travel teams excelling in premier leagues in the region. The largest growth has been in the Rising Talent Program.

Coach Lewis "Trey" Brown has been selected to introduce ODFC programs in western Virginia as our Director of Player and Coaching Education. He becomes one of the clubs newest directors added in anticipation of more club growth in 2018.

Coach Trey brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to ODFC. He has coached at every level including at Warren County, Skyline and Millbrook High Schools. He most recently has coached high-level programs in Pennsylvania at Harrisburg City Islanders Academy and the Capitol Area Soccer Association (CASA) in Harrisburg. He has coached in all age groups U9 through U19. Trey holds a NSCAA Advanced Regional and National Diploma.

Coach Brown will work closely with John Regan (ODFC North Director), JJ Kern (ODFC South Director) and the clubs Technical Director, Armin Sepehri to create a vibrant healthy inter-club development league throughout the region.
