The Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) in their latest issue of their informative TOUCHLINE newsletter attaches a confirmed number to our clubs recreational programs growth – 46%! This number doesn’t include our youngest participants in our Little Friends program (ages 3-4) which would put us into the 50+ percentage range overall. Regardless, all of us at ODFC should take pride in our efforts as volunteers, parents, coaches and directors of the work done on this our 15th year anniversary.

As a small-club, ODFC that was created with 20 players has grown to well over 700 and 27+ teams competing in all the high-level leagues in the state. We’ve built relationships with pre-schools, elementary, middle and high-schools as we grew into other areas of Loudoun County. Our list of community partners have fully endorsed our efforts in education and continue to show their support on a yearly basis. The list of supporters includes retail stores, restaurants and even a major health care facility, Stone Springs Hospital Center. Arthritis & Sports is the latest community supporter to be added to our expanding list. In short, over the past 15 years our “small” club has quietly gone on about the business of educating players and forging relationships utilizing tireless volunteers and professionals alike.

As 2017 quickly approaches its’ end, ODFC will never lose sight of our commitment to education and our tremendous sense of responsibility for teaching the next generation of players.

We can’t wait until 2018!!
