As the fall 2017 season quickly races towards the end ODFC coaches and directors are already planning our upcoming winter and spring 2018 programs. The fall 2017 Rising Talent Program has showcased talented players that will be making the jump to “travel” soccer next spring. Coach JJ Kern, ODFC Director of Travel Team Operations is leading the growth effort and said this, “we have a clear and concise pathway defined for all our players…it’s not customary to create new teams in the winter months but we do so to enhance the development of our kids…the needs of our players and families drive our every move.”

Player evaluations are scheduled the first two weekends in December at the Champe HS Turf facility. Players will be evaluated by ODFC professional staff and a team recommended specifically for them. Parents will also get a chance to meet club coaches and directors throughout the event.

Andy Vera, Director of Soccer Operations summed up the clubs anticipated growth this way, “we don’t put kids on waitlists or exclude anyone…all our players are assigned a program that will assist them in growing and developing.”

ODFC programming continues to be the talk of the county and now we see why!
