Dear ODFC Coaches, Parents, and Players:

It is with great excitement as I begin my work as the new Technical Director at ODFC. I've always viewed ODFC as a progressive soccer club with a solid organizational structure. I've always been passionate about coaching and enjoy seeing kids improve in soccer. I therefore fully embrace the philosophy of ODFC that places all focus and attention on education.

Over the years I utilized all available time to further my soccer education and to broaden my teaching experience. I’ve obtained a USSF National “B” and USSF National Youth Coaching license to complement my KNVB (Dutch) Youth Soccer Certification and NSCAA Regional Diploma. On the technical training side I’ve spent years applying proven methodologies as the Technical Director at the Leesburg Football Club (LFC), coaching high-level high school programs at Westfield, George Marshall and Loudoun County High Schools. I also continue to be part of a great staff of coaches with the VYSA Olympic Development Program (ODP).

I have watched ODFC grow and develop over many years but it was 2016-2017 that truly caught my attention. I studied the developmental structure and the educational “pathway” created. I then saw the 46% growth in membership in just 2 short seasons. Something special was happening in Loudoun County soccer and I wanted to be a part of it.

I’m committed to ODFC’s managed growth as we further supply this tremendous group of players and coaches all the educational opportunities they need for success. Specifically, I'll be focusing on the following 3 main areas:

I. Introducing specialized Technical/Skills Training Programs to all age groups

II. Curriculum based developmental training for our Travel teams which are consistent with our club's player development philosophy 

III. Coaching Education

In closing I couldn’t be more honored and humbled to be part of this club. I look forward to contributing to ODFC’s success and prosperous future!
