ODFC is proud to announce that Arthritis & Sports, a local orthopaedics and physical therapy practice, has partnered with ODFC to provide quality care to our athletes. As a supporting sponsor, Arthritis & Sports has been working alongside ODFC through their “Education First” initiative since opening their new location in South Riding this past September. “We’re proud to be officially joining the ODFC family after working with them over the last year,” comments Dr. Randall Peyton, president and CEO of Arthritis & Sports. “Not only do we get to give back to the community, but we get to do it alongside an organization that cares about and puts its players first, both mentally and physically.”

Since 1998, Arthritis & Sports has been proud to provide patients with accomplished, board-certified physicians who are dedicated to exceptional patient care. Their committed team of certified professionals strongly believes in serving patients from injury through rehabilitation, focusing on restoring their patient’s independence so they can live more of the life they want to live. With a comprehensive range of orthopaedic services and specialties including diagnostic procedures, physical therapy, and various wellness services, they are prepared to provide patients with prompt and effective treatments that are tailored to their individual needs.

In September of 2016, Arthritis & Sports proudly opened their second office in South Riding, featuring Dr. David Goodwin in its orthopaedics department. Dr. Goodwin specializes in the non-operative and surgical treatments of sports injuries in both pediatric and adult patients. Committed to caring for athletes in the area, Dr. Goodwin quickly formed a relationship with ODFC through StoneSprings Hospital, providing lectures on injury prevention and treatment for the group’s “Education First” initiative. Dr. Goodwin will be providing ODFC with medical assistance from the sidelines throughout the 2017 seasons, as well as contributing health and wellness content alongside StoneSpring’s Medical Director.
