Sean Lanigan has joined our developmental team and will begin program development and training this coming fall 2016 season.

Having gained his early coaching experience at Glentoran FC  and Larne FC in Ireland, Coach Lanigan has most recently been the Head Coach and Assistant General Manager for the Fresno Fuego of the USL-PDL where he managed the “Fuego” day-to-day operations. He is also part of the Virginia State Coaching Staff (VYSA) and integral part of the, USYSA Olympic Development Program. Coach Lanigan is a dedicated, committed coach and mentor for players of all age groups. He is a strong goal-keeping trainer with a vast experience in evaluating and selecting potential players for high-level competition with our VA State team(s).  

Coach Lanigan has coached extremely successful programs at Westfield and Herndon High Schools in Northern Virginia and developed elite players at NCSL, WAGS, NPL, and the DC United Youth Academy. He holds world class certifications; UEFA “A” and USSF “A” and we are proud to have him as part of our developmental team!
