ODFC fields teams in NCSL, WAGS and ODSL. Each travel team is staffed with energetic, skilled coaches and parent volunteers that have the players interests in mind.

We will be creating a brand new U10 Boys ODSL team for the 2013/2014 seasonal year. Players interested in attending our evaluations should email our Director, John Regan at johnregansoccer@yahoo.com. We will be holding two evaluation nights—May 29 and 30th from 5:00-6:15 at Harmony Middle School in Hamilton. June 3rd is the rainout night. We are looking for motivated athletes willing to take full advantage of our extensive training programs. Regardless of your child's current level of play, our training curriculum will improve every aspect of their game. The team will be trained by John Regan and coached by a licensed parent coach.

*We strongly discourage interested current travel players from missing their current team's training session to attend tryouts. Your commitment should be to your current team until the end of the season. If there is a conflict, we offer plenty of opportunities for your child to receive an evaluation.

The Girls U10 Quest players train together and are coached by our Director, John Regan and dedicated staff. The Quest Premier and Elite teams participate in the competitive WAGS POD division. For the 2013-14 season the Girls U10 Quest is looking to add motivated players to our program. Our aim is to form a third team and allow other aspiring athletes to join our Quest for Excellence. Our evaluation dates and times are:

ODFC Fall 2013 Rising U12G United
WAGS
 

The ODFC SR United was established in 2010, for girls born after Aug. 1, 2001, and are based in South Riding, VA. We have always played in the Washington Area Girls' Soccer League (WAGS). We are looking to add girls to our core team as we expand our roster for 2013-2014 travel seasons.

The team was formed to provide a challenging level of hometown soccer for girls in Dulles South. Emphasizing team work and skill development, the girls are able to form bonds by playing soccer together over an extended period of time and by being involved in activities both on and off the soccer field. Coach John's focus is on developing a team framework to expand the girls understanding of the game, to better enhance their individuals skills, while having fun. Our on-going training, including indoor winter soccer, allows for both skills and friendships to grow. The long term goal of the team is to develop the girl's athletic ability, understanding of teamwork and to prepare them for challenges as they grow. We play 2 - 3 tournaments per season and are the two-time defending Liberty Cup Champions.

The ODFC Inferno rising U12 will become a Cesena USA team in the fall of 2013. The girls are expanding their roster as they prepare to tackle this year-round program. The Cesena USA Program is the curriculum based and professionally coached affiliate of ODFC travel soccer.

The Cesena USA ‘01G will train and play year-round while participating in high-level tournaments (both local and away). They will be playing in WAGS carrying a roster of 14 committed players as they enter the U12 age group.

The team is currently looking for 3 to 4 players that are athletic, teachable, team- oriented girls who demonstrate an enjoyment and interest in the game.

The ODFC Spirit was formed in the summer of 2011 and is made up of a group of girls from Ashburn, Leesburg and Western Loudoun, while being primarily based out of Leesburg. The team plays in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League. As many of the girls have been playing together or against each other in the past, many friendships have been formed. We want to continue the friendships that have been established and form new ones. In order to facilitate these friendships, we organize activities outside of practices as well as promoting friendships on the field. We strive to play at a level that suits our ability, challenge ourselves to continue to learn/grow/improve as individuals and as a team, and have fun as we learn/grow/improve together. We are focused on developing/improving each and every player on the team.

The ODFC Predators were formed in the Fall of 2010 to provide a higher level of soccer play for girls born on or after 08/01/00 living in the Dulles South area of Loudoun County. Each of the girls on the team have many seasons of recreational soccer experience in addition to playing other sports. The coaching staff believes that girls, especially at this age, should be allowed to participate in other sports in addition to soccer for athletic cross training depending on the level of scheduling conflicts. The Predators train year round including indoor and summer camps.In addition to our Fall and Spring regular season play we enter 2-3 tournaments each season. The ODFC player development training is conducted with the girls together as a team and it provides additional individual instruction alongside their teammates. Our team goal is to provide the girls a competitive travel soccer experience with emphasis on sportsmanship,individual player skill development, positioning/field awareness and creative team play fostering a love of and passion for the game. The coaching staff includes former high school and collegiate soccer players that know and love the game. We are committed to creating a positive and fun atmosphere while ensuring every girl learns the fundamentals and importance of team play. The ODFC Shockwave was formed in the spring of 2010. The team was created in order to provide a higher level of play for U13 girls in the Dulles South area of Loudoun County. Each of the girls chosen to play for the team has many seasons of recreation soccer experience. Preparing the girls for more advanced soccer is a key goal of the club. Making sure that the girls understand the game, improve their skills and that they have fun on the field, takes the forefront. Our player development training enhances and reinforces the team’s goal of preparing the players for the next level of play. The girls have come together quickly and have bonded to form a tight unit on the field.

The Force is based in South Riding, Virginia, and plays in the NCSL.  Our coaches have our 75 years of combined coaching and playing experience and encourage the players to challenge themselves to do the best they can. To compete against their own potential and to work to continually improve on their skills. They incorporate fun into the mix of instruction, training and competition to give the players the best setting to develop their skills and perform to their highest potential - while maintaining the proper balance of fun and hard work so that the player looks forward to playing soccer not only now, but in the future as well. Our coaches aim to teach the concept of competition that emphasizes the importance of team work, creativity, good sportsmanship, and the need to acquire superior decision making skills, while always maintaining a positive mental attitude. These values will help to develop the player into not only a fine athlete, but also a fine young adult giving them skills to help them in all aspects of their lives.
 
In addition to NCSL play, the Force has successfully competed and been finalists or champions in top-notch tournaments along the East Coast over the past four years. Tournaments include The Jefferson Cup, Arlington Spring Invitational, PWSI IceBreaker, Virginia Beach Classic, Battlefield Classic, The Virginian, Bethesda Thanksgiving, Hunt Country Classic, Adidas Potomac, PWSI Toys for Tots Labor Day, Dulles Sportsplex Indoor, Futsal, and the Fiesta League. The team also plays annually in the Virginia State Cup.
 
The Force trains year-round in a positive competitive atmosphere with emphasis on skill development as well as personal and team development. Individual commitment, as well as team commitment is a core part of the foundation of the team. We are always open for players to train with us in open training sessions and welcome you to arrange a visit to a session with our coaches and players. Our goal is continuous improvement to drive to the high levels of play.

The team has been in existence for three years starting at age U9 with the same core group of players. Each of the boys on the team have many seasons of recreational and travel soccer experience in addition to playing other sports. The coaching staff believes that boys should be allowed to participate in other sports in addition to soccer for athletic cross training depending on the level of scheduling conflicts. The Old Dominion Football Club (ODFC) Arsenal is a rising U14 boys NCSL team. The Arsenal currently plays in U13 Division 6.

ODFC Fall 2013 Rising U14G Sting

The Old Dominion FootballClub (ODFC) South Riding Sting is a rising U14 Girls travel soccer team based in South Riding, Virginia. We currently play in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League(WAGS).

The ODFC South Riding Sting was formed during the summer of 2008. The Sting was founded by Head Coach Jeff Rush in order to allow girls in the Dulles South Region of Loudoun County, Virginia the opportunity to participate in a competitive girl's soccer league.

The mission of the Sting is to teach the game of soccer to girl's who are currently competing at the rising U14 level. The teaching involves more advanced soccer education than is typically available at the House League level. The objective of the coaching staff is to enrich the skills of each player through teaching that emphasizes fundamental and advanced soccer skills. The goal is also to help the girl's further their soccer skills and knowledge in a competitive soccer environment. The Sting coaching staff also realizes that soccer training and competition at the U13 level should be done in a positive and encouraging manner to allow the girls to have fun while developing their soccer skills and learning more about this great game. The long-term mission of the Sting is to prepare girls for the next level of soccer competition while continuing to maintain a proper balance between competition and personal development as well as fun.

The ODFC Hawks team was formed in the fall of 2009. We are a U13 WAGS team based in Western Loudoun, Virginia. We practice in Purcellville and Leesburg. This upcoming fall, The Hawks will be professionally coached by Kirk Smith, the coach of Loudoun County High School's Varsity Women's team. Our team is made up of girls who want to develop advanced soccer skills and play at a competitive level while balancing fun and hard work. The Hawks are a great group of girls who enjoy their friendships with one another on and off the field.

 ODFC Quest Select '18 Thunder is a rising U14 girls travel soccer team, formed in the Fall of 2012, that plays in the Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL). The team, based in western Loudoun County, practices and trains in Hamilton,VA. The team is coached by parent volunteers and professionally trained by John Regan.
 
 
 
Our team is always looking for athletic, teachable, team-oriented players who are committed to working on skills development and who demonstrate an enjoyment and interest in the game. The ODFC Lightning is a rising U15 travel soccer team looking for players to enhance its roster for the 2013/2014 season. The team will be holding tryouts on June 4 at 5:30 PM and June 6th at 6:30 PM at Sage Hill Farm in Leesburg. We also have an open practice policy if you would like to come out before tryouts. The Lightning is coached by Pat Manno who is the head JV coach at Dominion High School. The team offers a competitive environment, professional training and an opportunity to play for one of the top teams in the area. The Lightning currently competes in WAGS Division 2 and is the current Virginia President's Cup champion. Its practices are held primarily in Leesburg at an easy to reach location. The team has a solid record in both seasonal and tournament competition. If your player is looking for challenge in a high level soccer environment you should check out our program. The ODFC Cobras Rising U15B will become the Cesena ‘98B in the fall of 2013. The boys are expanding their roster as they prepare to tackle this year-round program. The Cesena USA Program is the curriculum based and professionally coached affiliate of ODFC travel soccer.

The Cesena USA ‘98B will train and play year-round while participating in high-level tournaments (both local and away). They will be playing in NCSL carrying a roster of 15-18 committed players as they enter the U15 age group.

The Revolution is based in South Riding, Virginia. The Revolution plays in Division 1 of the Washington Area Girls Soccer (WAGS) league. In addition to WAGS play, the Revs have successfully competed and been finalists or champions in top-notch tournaments along the East Coast over the past six years. Tournaments include FC Delco Memorial Day, CASL Shootout, Arlington Spring Invitational, PWSI IceBreaker, Richmond Kickers Columbus Day Tournament, Jefferson Cup, The Virginian, Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament, Triangle Friendlies, Adidas Potomac, PWSI Toys for Tots Labor Day, Fredericksburg, Dulles Sportsplex Indoor, Loudoun Winter Outdoor League, Fiesta League, and the WAGS Tournament.
 
The Revs train year-round in a positive competitive atmosphere with emphasis on skill development as well as personal and team development. Individual commitment, as well as team commitment is a core part of the foundation of the team. We are always open for players to train with us in open training sessions and welcome you to arrange a visit to a session with our coaches and players. Our goal is continuous improvement to drive to the high levels of play. The Revs are coached by Chris Campbell, ODFC President, with 20 years of soccer coaching experience in WAGS, NCSL, ODSL and USL, Emily Dale, former Univeristy of Richmond player, and Kim Kammerdeiner, former US National Team player with over 20 years of club and college coaching experience, who works with our goalkeepers.  Coaches Campbell and Kammerdeiner are also on the Freedom HS girls soccer staff.
 
The Revolution will hold Open Training Tuesday, May 21st and Tuesday May 28th. Try-Outs will be held on Tuesday, June 4, Thursday, June 6th, Tuesday, June 11th, and Thursday, June 13th. All sessions will be held from 7:00-8:30p at Freedom High School in South Riding, VA.

ODFC Blast - A rising U16 ODSL girls soccer team in western Loudoun County. The team is based in western Loudoun and holds training in Purcellville. The team's goal is to provide a competitive environment in which the girls can continue to learn and enjoy the game of soccer. The Blast coaches are Keith Johnston (USSF D, NSCAA Junior Level VI), and Tom Nelson. Keith has been coaching girls for 14 years, Tom was a four year starter and team captain at Randolph Macon College.

The ODFC Pumas (formerly Nova Legends 97 Elite) is a professionally-coached, NCSL team that trains year-round. The Pumas are looking to add players to complement our core group. Coach Zik Jabar holds a USSF National C Soccer License and has many years of soccer experience as a player and coach. His soccer playing experience encompasses playing at the collegiate D1 level as well as a pro in Malaysia. His enthusiastic and positive attitude motivates his players to perform at their highest levels. Coach Zik has been involved with Maryland ODP program as an assistant coach of the boys U-13 and U-14 age group. Coach Zik has a personal coaching philosophy that promotes technical/tactical development, character growth and competitiveness. A positive work ethic and good sportsmanship is held to the highest standards for the team and players. Playing time will be earned through commitment level and performance. Attendence at all the following tryout dates is highly encouraged.

ODFC Fall 2013 Rising U18G Clash

WAGS Division 4 team is looking for players in every position to round out its roster. Players born after 8/1/1995 are eligible.  The Clash is professionally coached by Kirk Smith, Loudoun County High School’s girls’ varsity coach. Coach Smith is an all-district and all-met recognized coach with a C license.  The Clash practices in the Leesburg area with team members from all over Loudoun County - Aldie, Lovettsville, Ashburn, and Round Hill.
